SV	En zo wij dit niet uit zorg vanwege [deze] zaak gedaan hebben, zeggende: Morgen mochten uw kinderen tot onze kinderen spreken, zeggende: Wat hebt gij met den HEERE, den God van Israel, te doen?
WLC	וְאִם־לֹ֤א מִדְּאָגָה֙ מִדָּבָ֔ר עָשִׂ֥ינוּ אֶת־זֹ֖את לֵאמֹ֑ר מָחָ֗ר יֹאמְר֨וּ בְנֵיכֶ֤ם לְבָנֵ֙ינוּ֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר מַה־לָּכֶ֕ם וְלַֽיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Trans.	wə’im-lō’ midə’āḡâ midāḇār ‘āśînû ’eṯ-zō’ṯ lē’mōr māḥār yō’mərû ḇənêḵem ləḇānênû lē’mōr mah-llāḵem wəlaJHWH ’ĕlōhê yiśərā’ēl:

AC	כד ואם לא מדאגה מדבר עשינו את זאת לאמר מחר יאמרו בניכם לבנינו לאמר מה לכם וליהוה אלהי ישראל
ASV	and if we have not [rather] out of carefulness done this, [and] of purpose, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with Jehovah, the God of Israel?
BE	And if we have not, in fact, done this designedly and with purpose, having in our minds the fear that in time to come your children might say to our children, What have you to do with the Lord, the God of Israel?
Darby	and if we have not done it from fear of this thing, saying, In future your children will speak to our children, saying, What have ye to do with Jehovah the God of Israel?
